Welcome & Messaging

Introduction

The theme of the 2025 Global Leadership Summit is Lead Where You Are. We all go through moments of difficulty and doubt. We’ve all thought about holding back, tapping out. But leaders don’t give up. They have a fire in them to keep moving, keep growing. At the Global Leadership Summit, you will discover a grander vision for your life. You will gain the courage and the resources to become the leader you know you can be. Because the world needs the light of your leadership.

Messaging

The following messaging and language guidelines are designed to shape a consistent, compelling voice for GLS25 communications. From core taglines to creative “light” metaphors and bold social phrases, these elements help reinforce the Summit’s identity as the world’s premiere leadership conference—while inviting leaders to shine right where they are.

GLS25 Design Messaging

Core Messaging

Primary tagline: Lead where you are.

Secondary tagline: The world’s premiere leadership conference. (Use in places where the audience is unfamiliar with the GLS.)

A design feature of this season’s artwork and design is related to light. Therefore, the messaging can also be adjusted to support this metaphor:

    “Light” Taglines

    (aligned to the GLS25 style
    and design):

    View Taglines
    1. The world needs the light of your leadership.
    2. Keep the light of your leadership glowing.
    3. Keep the light of your leadership glowing at the world’s premiere leadership conference.

    “Social” Taglines

(only for certain settings where appropriate, aligned to GLS25 style):
    View Taglines
    1. Give your leadership a glow-up.
    2. Does your leadership need a glow-up?
    3. Is your leadership lit?

    “Light” Messaging

It only takes one spark, one visionary, to create light in the darkness.

But we all go through moments of difficulty and doubt. We’ve all thought about holding back or tapping out. But leaders don’t give up. You don’t give up. The embers of your leadership are still burning. There’s a fire in you to keep moving, keep growing.

The world needs the light of your leadership. At the 2025 Global Leadership Summit, you will join a community of leaders stoking the embers of their leadership. And when your single light is added to a community of leaders, you can illuminate the world.

    Logo

    Color Logo Usage
Over light or white backgrounds, the mountain icon should be Summit Blue and the wordmark should be Soft Black (HEX: 141414 RGB: 20,20,20 CMYK: 73,67,66,81).

    White Logo Usage
Over dark or complex backgrounds, the mountain icon and wordmark should be white.

    Minimum Size of Logo
To ensure that logo’s legibility, don’t make the logo smaller than 1/2 of an inch tall. Digital applications may have some exceptions

    Minimum Space Around Logo
The minimum space around the logo is shown above. The “M” height can be used as a measurement tool to determine the padding around the logo.

Never stretch or squeeze logo proportions and do not change the color of the logo.

Never rearrange the logo elements and never alter any fonts in the logo

    Main Artwork

GLS25 main artwork uses the main gradient as a background with the mountain icon of the GLS logo filled in with a gradient and treated with a neon effect. It also uses portions of the mountain logo with a neon glow treatment as additional background elements. The full date should be placed centered, below, and offset a bit from the logo and set in the font Acumin Variable Extra Condensed Black. If the dates are in a darker area of the gradient background it should be white; but if it’s in a lighter area of the gradient background it should be Cobalt. This is to ensure there is enough contrast for readability.

This year’s main artwork features the GLS logo. The mountain icon is filled with a gradient and treated with a neon effect, and the font for the wordmark is different than the above branded logos. The main artwork is an exception to the brand standards on this page and the following.

    SECONDARY ELEMENTS

    Gradients
Color gradients can be used as full backgrounds or as individual gradient shapes. The addition of a Photoshop glass displacement treatment on gradient shapes creates a variety of unique elements. The following images show examples of specific color gradients and shapes to pair together with their neighboring colors in the palette. We have provided instructions for the Photoshop displacement treatment, as well as PNGs of all the color gradients and shapes shown on the following pages. But you can create additional elements that compliment and align with what is presented in this style guide.

    Particles
These can be used to add motion to a still graphic, or as an animated element. We have provided multiple particle PNGs in a variety of branded colors.

    Neon Glow
You can load the provided neon action style into Photoshop to create a neon glow effect. This effect should be used sparingly. Use portions of the mountain logo as an additional element. We have provided neon mountain PNGs in a variety of branded colors.

    Typography

GLS25 speaker headshots will be outlined and treated with the neon glow effect. Samples of how photos can be layered and combined with color gradients and shapes as shown here.
